Project application

When applying for a project, the project plan and documents should be checked and sealed by the UIF and submitted to the relevant institution. When submission is handled by the UIF, the Research Director should submit all documents to the UIF Project Manager.

Project selection and contract

When a project selection notice is received from the relevant institution, a contract will be drawn up according to the contract procedures decided by the relevant institution. However, the contract and documents should be checked and sealed by the UIF before submission to the relevant institution.

Claiming research funds

After completing the contract procedures, some or all of the research funds will be claimed from the relevant institution. However, the documents required for the claim (e.g. bill, statement, copy of bank account) should be checked and sealed by the UIF before submission to the relevant institution.

Forming of research projects

The UIF project manager will form the project based on basic relevant information, and the Research Director should enter the detailed information regarding the project to be approved by the UIF Project Manager. (Upload or submit a contract and project plan using the forms and original documents provided by UIF)

Project confirmation

When there is nothing wrong with the entered project content, the UIF Project Manager will approve the project and a project number will be assigned.

Card issue

Apply for card issue in the card system of the relevant institution or the UIF card system. Refer to the research fund card system flowchart regarding card issue procedures and use.

Use of research funds and balancing account

Using and balancing funds is possible after research funds have been deposited and card has been issued. To adjust budget allocation while using the funds, the research director must apply to the budget management section of the RMS and should use the form provided by UIF.
The Research Director should check whether the budget adjustment complies with the regulations of the relevant institution, and, when necessary, the approval procedures of the institution for budget changes should be performed. Submission of resulting products

The Research Director must prepare the research results according to the relevant institution’s research project guidelines, and when necessary the results should pass through the UIF and be sealed before submission to the relevant institution aong with the other official documents.

Submission of application history report

Upon the completion of research, the Research Director must produce a balance report by the determined date and according to the set format of the relevant institution. When necessary, it should pass through the UIF and be sealed before submission to the relevant institution along with the official documents.

Managing research results

When the Research Director wants to apply for a patent or publish an article containing the results of the relevant research, this must be performed according to the guidelines set by the relevant institution, and when necessary, it should pass through the UIF.
